Greetings fellow spacers,

We have released Patch 1.5.0 for players playing on PC, Xbox consoles, and PlayStation consoles which you should see the next time you launch The Outer Worlds. This patch is required in order to fix specific issues and apply any changes included.

  • Necessary files to The Outer Worlds: Murder on Eridanos have been added. Murder on Eridanos will release on March 17th!

Changes/fixes that are included in this patch are as follows:

General:

  • Save files from beyond the "point of no return" will now allow players to access the "Peril on Gorgon" and "Murder on Eridanos" DLCs. After installing a new DLC, attempting to load a save file at the end of the game will give an option to instead place the player onboard the Unreliable, with access to the rest of the Halcyon system restored.
  • Fixed an issue where Nyoka's face animations could stop updating during conversations.
  • Updated the description of the "Robophobia" Flaw to be more accurate.
  • The frame rate cap has been removed on PS5 and Series X (not Series S).
